I would say the AMD, because the pentium one you have listed is really outdated and will even run just windows slowly, while the AMD is faster and has more memory it will be able to be used longer and will be more reliable.

There are several things to consider. The best idea is to determine what software you need to use and find the computer that can run the software.
Cost is another factor. A computer that is cutting edge today will be out of style in as little as 3 months. You can save hundreds of $$$ buying last-years model, if it can run the programs you want. If you are buying for a school lab, remember that for the price of a top-of-the line newest technological wonder, you can buy 3 or 4 economy computers that may not beable to run the latest kicking version of Halo, but are excellent for running Reader Rabbit.

the pentium 3 its slower but im not expecting those kids to play anything too demanding or to be downloading large media files however you should atleast have 256mb of ram and a cd burner
for any back ups however any P3 motherboard onboard display is not to good so you want to add a 64MB or 128MB video card on that

go to Best Buy and ask about Geek Squad. they can help you out with all of your computer questions and problems. my dad is a Geek Agent. just ask one of them and they could tell which is better and why.
