Got drunk, and tried to drive home in the rain. St. Patty's day will be one year since my car accident that put me in the hospital for almost three weeks and kept me out of work for a month. I was in a wheel chair most of the summer last year. I broke both my ankles and now have pins, plates and screws all in there. I broke my sternum and some ribs too. I had to learn to walk and drive all over again. And I missed out on some precious time with my little boy because I couldn't get up and around the house enough to take care of him. He had to stay with his dad for a while. I learned my lesson though. I'm never doing that again. I almost never even drink anymore.

Cops stopped me and I asked them if they were going to issue me a DIW.That's how buzzed I got.In Texas,it's a DWI.I didn't get one,but I spend the night at the holding tank until I got sober.Never again!

there are so many....but i fell off a 2nd floor balcony and broke my spine. now have 2 metal rods and numerous screws and 5 vertebrae fused together.
