actually ever met them? What were your first impressions?

i seem to have become quite attached to someone here on yahoo! answers. strangest thing, really. when you least expect it... no, i haven't met her in person yet but that's going to take some time as she lives in the united kingdom and i live in the united states. but in the meantime, we're enjoying these connections we have.

Well I have meet lots of people from yahoo and their picture and them aren't always the same especially some women. But I ahve have had some relationships with some of them and have gone well. AND some end when we meet especially when you find out they are younger than you want them to be. Now I know why so many guys get in trouble when meeting women.

I've met cool people from Craigslist.
But when I met them in person, they didn't look quite like their pictures, or they didn't act quite like I expected. Never went out on more than one date with someone from CL.

yup... met a few nice ppl from meetic... some works well, and some turns out not good... there's different ppl all over the world... so just be yoursef.... like my fav quote... 'enjoy life to the fullest while u still alive.... =D

Melodywhore and i met on here...and as he says we are at present enjoying the connections we have...we write and phone and are enjoying every minute we have together,until the day we meet ...neither one of us is worried about meeting...we are already too lost for that...
.....long distance is only as hard as you make it...if something is meant to work...it will....and we do...;0)
