even if you don't have the contact information for the people who can verify it. I have experience related to a job I am applying for, but it was so long ago that I don't have the info of anyone who can verify it if the employers want to check it out? Should I still list it??

Yes. Volunteer work is very relevant, especially if it applies top the position you are seeking. It is important that your potential employer know that you have previously had experience in the field of work that you are seeking.

As a manager for a very large organization, I never discount past experience, paid or not. Contact information is necessary for reference checks and verification. However, if you have the name of the organization, it should be enough information to at least get you to the interview process.

Resumes are tools that you use to market your own personal skills and talents to potential employers. So it is importatnt that you do not leave out information that can land you the interview in the field of work that interests you.

Good luck!

even though u cant list contact details if u can provide the name of the company then ur potential employers can at least do some research into it. the more jobs u can put onto ur resume the better u look as an employee especially if u have longevity. employers love it cause it shows ur reliable, dependable and loyal to the company. i had next to no skills for a job but i got it cause my previous job went for 5 1/2 years.

If it's relevant - AND it is the truth - List it.
If it is Not relevant - or not true - do not list it.
