Ew I don't go for guys that age, not that I think they are disgusting but they are too old for my physically.
I think perhaps those women want a stable relationship..definitely not for a physical thing when there are so many young men out there. Unless you're George Clooney that's a different story.

Men in their 39's and 40's are "OLD"?
As a 19-year-old female who is also attracted to "old" men, I would have to concur with many of the other posters -- men who are in their 30's and 40's are much more mature, understanding, responsible, and comfortable with themselves than are their younger counterparts. It has nothing to do with looking for a father figure. From my experience, most guys closer to my age range are jerks. Their actions and words implicate that 85% of their thoughts revolve around sex, which, in my opinion, is NOT sexy or desirable in a man. It's a big turn off, actually.
Because older men also have had more life experiences, they are more knowledgable and have more to offer to their partner. I also happen to have a high IQ, so I personally feel that I do not have to dumb myself down so much with older men, who by now have come to appreciate intelligence more than younger men.
While I have not actually dated any "old" men, I would say that doing so could cause some problems. For instance, I'm really attracted to a 40+ man at my work, but he has children from previous relationships who are even older than I am, and if I were to pursue a relationship with him, I'm sure they would feel very uncomfortable. By they way, this man is also not rich, so that docks the gold-digger theory some points.
It's really a personal preference, so you shouldn't state such a generality that all "women love old men." Hope my post helps clarify some misconceptions. ;)

I'll tell you why. It's because men in their 30's and 40's and older know how to treat a woman rather than play games with her. They are more serious about relationships in general and are not just out to get laid.
It's really not about money. It's maturity and responsibility, which are sexy to a woman.
Sometimes they have been married before and already have kids and so they are more responsible and "adult" than younger guys. They take their time with a woman and know how to love. They know themselves well by then and do not have to prove themselves anymore.
I'm 41 now and living with a 57-year-old man who is absolutely wonderful. I've never dated (or married) a man less than 12 years older than myself and it's because of the maturity factor. BTW - my guy is a better lover than any 20-year-old and I wouldn't trade him for even the studliest younger guy!

First of all I don't think being 35-45 is old at all. I really think they are looking for maturity, face it some guys in their 20's act like children, older men are usually more established both financially and emotionally, some of those girls may be in it for the money, but some do like the maturity.

Most women are thinking he is stable lived so he has experience! We are not looking for father figures that is out! Money grubbers I doubt it or I wouldn't have been married for 20 years before he decided to move to mommy's house and leave me with 3 kids. 13 years separated me and my ex I am the younger woman he being older I certainly did not marry him for money with him working at U-Haul.

From an Economical & Social perspective it is unwise.
Statistically, women live 15 - 20 years longer than a man. (www.cia.gov). So if a 45 year old man marries a 20 year old chick --- well the chick will live 30 years without him. So, how is a 55 year old widow supposed to have a shared life when he biffs it. Not to mention, she's spent at least 10 of the years she's shared with him being his "Nurse" and changing his diapers.

Ah, who cares. As a young man in his twenties, why don't you go and drill a few 35-45 y/o women? They're a hell of a lot better in bed than the twenty year olds and they'll teach you a thing or two that will make the young women love you even more when you're with them.
Who's the douchebag that keeps giving me a thumbs down?

because of fact maximum probable older adult adult males have there lives jointly slightly extra desirable than youthful adult adult males. For you at sixteen it somewhat is in all probability section delusion to verify if an older guy may be attracted to a sixteen year previous. If a guy it extremely is 25-26 is attracted to you he does not have his act jointly on the grounds which you're nonetheless a newborn what style of guy might choose a newborn. that's not a guy i might choose to get entangled with.

Women tend to look for men like there fathers actually or atleast have the same characteristics. Its safe, and comforting. Women in there 20's probably aren't living at home with there daddy's anymore, and when they find a a man like there dads, its much easy for them to get into a relationship, because they feel like they know them better.

Us old duffers, appreciate ALL the special features of womanhood (guess cause it takes a lot longer for our crouch to
take control of our brain). We even enjoy "Older" women, as well as 21-29 (30 onup to ???). We actually LIKE women for what they are, and we can do a pretty good job at pleasing them cause we try.
