I have heard of teachers calling CPS if they find out a parent listens to 'hate' radio like Rush, if a parent leads a child in prayer at home at the dinner table, or if the parent talks about Bush in a positive light.
Should a person's child be taken away from them just because they are a Bible-believing, red blooded Patriotic American?

Why do Americans, who live in a country based on freedom of speech and belief, hate each other so much over politics? Do you not understand that by being so polarized and divided over INCONSEQUENTIALS that you weaken yourself as a people, as a nation?
ESPECIALLY when both parties are basically the very same and have all the same people who work for the same corporate masters? It defiles all logic. Your Confederate fathers must be weeping to see the results of their labour.

It defies all logic. It is so sad. You people are supposed to be adult AND have freedom of speech!
Why do you spread such insidious hatred of your fellow Americans because they have a different way of thinking? Is this freedom of thought or freedom of speech? Or has America really become a fascist state?
Think instead about the losses of freedoms you are ALL facing and stand together, strong and proud as one people! How does one explain the Patriot Act replacing your Declaration of Independence as a good thing?
This is what corrupt politicians are doing to a once fine strong nation of tolerant human beings. It makes one want to weep.I am not American so I do not have to make a choice between such odious politicians so maybe I just don't understand, hmmm?
As for the questioner, what possible good can such mean-spirited question do for the state of the world?

That's then what parents are for; teaching the kids otherwise when they get home from school. So, we're teaching them both sides (unless you're a liberal, then it's preaching to the choir), which is probably the best situation. Cmon open minded, well-rounded future's of America!
But if the parent is not doing things that CPS would be concerned about... why care? All that happens is that the teacher is shown to be a whistle blower and might not be trusted later.

These are made-up cases. Meaning, if they happened, they were overturned.
No self-respecting liberal would deny a parent's right to let their kids listen to Rush, pray at home, or talk about Bush is a positive light.
Whoever told you that this happened is lying or does not have the whole story.

i think of we particularly need to circulate the process heavily revamping the way we take care of the mentally unwell in this united states of america... Our equipment is previous pathetic...there is an editorial going around the cyber web called "i'm Adam Lanza's mom" examine it out because it supplies sturdy perception as to how those issues brew and why those little ones don't get the help they want...

I have never heard of teachers calling CPS for the reasons you have stated. That being said, liberals do infest the government schools. This is necessary because individuals do not make good socialists. My job as a parent is to counter this idiocy and hold it up as an example of how not to run a country. Liberal nonsense provides me with teaching moments

Well they have been trying for 50 years and they only seem to make free thinking children grow up to be fine conservatives. Plus it keeps them out of the mainstream work forces.

I have no idea of the truth behind this..but most teachers and professors are Liberals and do push their agenda..I was in College in the 70s and that's where all the Hippie Antis came from with the Professors leading it

I have to say yes --- it is a proven fact that conservatives are more likely to abuse their children than liberals. It's only one small step from saying nice things about Bush to strapping electrodes to people and zapping them.
