Also has a power filter and airstone, but no heater. I do a 2.5 gallon water change every week. Not planning on adding any other fish.

Your fish should be fine, however 2.5 gallon water change should be increased to 5 gallons. Appx. 20-25% water changes. Remember gold fish need lots of dissolved oxygen in their tanks. Doing a larger water change adds much needed dissolved oxygen back to your tank. Your airstone is a nice decoration, but adds no oxygen to the tank. Only water movement like your filter and power head (waves wind waterfalls etc) will add dissolved oxygen.

You don't need a heater for your gold fish. They should be fine.

(Just a remember some common gold fish can grow as large as 8 inches. If your fish, in years to come grow this large, you may reconsider a larger tank.)

Unfortunately you're not fine, and will get overcrowded as the fish grow. If you had fancy goldfish, you could get away with it, but common goldfish can grow over a foot long, easily, and they are pond fish for a reason. They produce copious amount of waste and toxic ammonia.
You sound like you take good care of your tank, but please consider getting fish that are more appropriate for a tank that size. If you're into goldfish, a couple fancies would work (that's fantails, orandas, etc). You should also increase weekly water changes to 5 gallons (25% of the total amount).

Its not over crowded but it is fully stocked. Get a heater. You will have less disease if you keep the tank at a consistant temperature. As the common GF get bigger you will have to change out more than 15% of the water once a week. You may need to change out 50% once a week to maintain good water quality especially when the GF get bigger. Those will get 10 tp 12 inches if they reach adulthood so a bigger tank is in your future.

You're fine with what you've got. The rule of thumb is ten gallons of water per goldfish

That is fine, as long as you don't add anymore fish, you are good to go.

that's plenty of room for 2 goldfish. they won't need all that much space. i have a fishtank with 30 gallons and about 10 fish in it.
