Huh? A gay marriage between siblings? I don't think I would be supportive of an incestious relationship let alone support them in their desire to marry.

btw...incest and homosexuality are completely different issues. I support same-sex marriage between non-related consenting adults 100%.

Well, I can't take what you're asking seriously simply by virtue of your inability to spell the simplest of words, in this case with instead of wiht.

Now, to be sure, as you will note by one of the answers, some will use the quite legitimate statement for same sex marriage and, like most liars, will twist the meaning to serve their own twisted logic. One can only point and laugh at them since they show themselves to be foolish and quite ignorant.

We in the gay community are far more intelligent and thus do not really scorn you but we do pity you, for pity is what you need.

Now, go back to whatever redundant function you serve in society and leave those of us who have, through real struggle, earned the right to be who we are without apology.

You seem to have confused two different issues.

Since marriage involves rights given by the STATE, any two consenting adults who are not legally barred from marrying should be able to, or else the state is practising discrimination. Religion should have absolutely no say in who gets rights given by the STATE.

In every state in the US, brothers and sisters are legally barred from marrying. Thus this would not apply to such a couple.

I see your point. The reason given for barring brothers and sisters from marrying is it will cause damage to potential children. Same sex incestuous couples cannot produce children. Banning them from getting married is simply imposing ones religious views on them. Who are we to regulate the way they express their love?

Guy above me, I hope you are Canadian, otherwise you have an extremely warped lack of knowledge considering the underpinnings of the American theory of democracy. The State does not give rights. Rights are inate. The State can only exist by taking rights away, namely your right to govern yourself. We willingly sacrifice that right for the added protection having a State gives us, in hopes that this protection will better safeguard the remaining rights we didn't give up better than we could as individuals.

Having marriages recognized by the government is not a right, it is the taking away of a right, namely your right to marry anyone you like, in the number you like, and divorce in the manner you like, anytime you like, without oputside interference

You give up those rights because society as a whole has found that our rights are better protected by sacrificing those rights to allow the State to regulate the formation and disolution of man-women relationships so that the rights of both partners are protected by our collective power in case of messy break up where they'd like to hoze eachother, and the rights of their children can be protected by society at a time when their parents could be more concerned for themselves than their children.

Gentleman below me, you are using a red heiring. Ability to spell or type correctly does not correlate with the ability to use logic. This can be shown by the way you corrected his spelling, ignored the question, and then simply insulted him rather than pointing out why you were offended and then disproving the point that offended you.
