One of the problems with today's gasoline is it goes stale after a month or so. It starts to smell like paint remover. I use Stabil in my mower and other gas tanks that have to sit for several months.
What happens to the gasoline that sits is that a sticky deposit forms and it clogs injectors and carb passages. I've had to use rich carb cleaner in small engines that I let sit too long without Stabil. It does work.

Yes - contact the company from which you purchased the gas, sometimes when they have received several complaints they contact their insurance company and have a standard rule to pay for all damage done by bad gasoline. Same is true and more so with Diesel fuel due to excessive amounts of wax which will shut down the engine due to clogged injectors and fuel lines. Cars or gasoline engines operate on the same principle in relation to injectors.

Yes for sure - especially where you get some water. Unfortunately, the only solution is the draining and cleaning of your gas tank. As a suggestion, only fill up at a gas station that has a lot of activity - where you have lots of activity, there is less chance of getting water in your gasoline. If you can prove that you got the water or bad gasoline from a particular facility, you may have recourse to collect damages from them. Underground tanks sometimes have water in them from all the condensation.

Quite possible. There could be dirt in the gas tank too, your fuel filter should catch it, but with gumming up and dirt, it can foul out an injector. Depending on the engine you could have a bad plug or a bad coil if you have coil on plug ignition. Maybe a bad plug wire also. Good luck.

Yes, it can. Either bad gas, which sometimes happens, or dirt/water in the tank. You have to have the tank drained and cleaned, then replace the injector.

yes,it can cause it,but you would think the rest of them would too.you might change the fuel filter, and try that, but it sounds like you just got 1 bad injector,or it could be just a plug or wire.

It's possible. If you think that is it then add a gas treatment to your car. It won't hurt and can help.
