As a general rule of thumb, if a fish is active, swimming normally and eating well you have noithing to worry about. Very general rule. The yawning is to clear their gills. It's a common occurance and nothing at all to worry about. Goldfish can and often do change color a bit as they grow and mature. Black lips are most likely a sign of this color change. It maybe the only thing that changes but might not be. There is no way to predict What will change, how much or when, you just have to sit back and watch.

Gold fish can and do go thru color changes...as the other reply you may need an air supply also...be careful on amount of food as tooooooo much can cause increase of waste breaking down in water...

its fine. no problem.fish change colors alot so its normal..........i think.lol
