For my essay I have to poll different people and find out what they believe about UFO's/ extraterrestrials and why.

It is not a belief . Its a fact.The reason is if you see something that cannot be identified then, it is classified as a UFO.
What else can you call it. Any flying bird that you cannot identify would be called a UFB.
So far anything that Has been flying has been terrestial.
Perhaps, you may call Angels as extraterrestial but they are not visible to the Human eye.

People believe in UFOs because It is impossible that through tout the entire universe and galaxies we should be the only ones.

because they live boring pathetic lives and they want other people to pay attention to them .
