I brought some eggs about 6 months ago, they hatched and now the stick insects have started laying eggs. They are Indian Stick Insects. Does anyone know how you're supposed to look after them? How many eggs will they lay? And How long will it take for the eggs to hatch into insects?

Many thanks for your help
xx

Put them on some vermiculite which you can buy from garden centres and pet shops.Keep it moist and warm. The eggs take about 4 months to hatch but don't panic if they are late.

They will lay eggs throughout their lives-no set number.

We used to keep them and they S**G like rabbits, if you don't clean the tank out or they get under the newspaper like ours did, the tank gets over-run with the blighters. I'm not sure how long it takes for them to hatch out, I'd say 2 months. We gave ours away cos they were taking over. I heard the females have pink legs, theyre probably pretty sore with all the action

You might check to see if you can find the information on the internet. Or at least, a bug specialist.
