It is eclectic, yet tasteful. If you are going for a name that is somewhat off the beaten path, yet not really "out there", I think you've got a great choice in this one! I especially like the symmetry in syllables from first through last name.

I like Onyx as a middle name, but am not crazy about Zoe. Maybe instead try~

Zola Onyx Wheeling
Zara Onyx Wheeling
Zenia Onyx Wheeling

I love Zoe. It is such a cute name. Very girly and pretty. It is also nice because it cant be shortened to anything silly. I have never heard of the name Onyx, but I think it actually sounds really well. All three names go really nicely together. Very nice choices!!!

Zoe is one of the best names!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Zoe Wheeling flows nicely. However Onyx is sort of a masculine name in my opinion. Why don't you try a synonym for black in another language ( for example noir, which is French for the colour black) Zoe Noir Wheeling.
