Did anyone else that has ever used sunbeds feel disgusted to learn that the salon in Eastenders only clean thier beds at night time??? Breeding ground for all sorts of nasty germs from The Square, oh no wait a minute it is just Bert and his grandson.

I know it is a show, i am not stupid. It is just a general observation. and i do always clean my bed before and after i use it...........thanks

Well in the case of this episode - it was even worse because Chelsea ws trying to convince Tanya to re-employ her and said "I'll even make sure I clean the sunbeds every night!" which would suggest that they weren't being cleaned AT ALL, night time or otherwise!!
But yes I take your point, surely it would be best practice to clean after every use.

I always make sure I clean a sunbed before and after I use it just to make sure.
What i want to know is why I am at college and will be for 3 years to become a beauty therapist when in eastenders, chelsea can do it and work on clients after just going for a job interview! Wish I had known about that rather than all the hard work I have been doing at college and all the money I now owe for student loans and overdrafts!

I know it's grim, but I have been to a number of salons that when you go to lie on the sunbeds there are some greasy streaks waiting for you, and teh odd hair!!! Nasty, onyl use the stand up ones now

The moral of the story is stay away from sunbeds - unless you want a melanoma to go with your vanity.

But before you go on a sunbed, clean it yourself first, I do, just to make sure !!!

Don't use them. They can cause skin cancer, prefer to be snow white, safer. xxx
