Dear Person,
Well....I've been actually I'm still going through it as we speak (well sort of). Just set your friend straight. Say I don't like you sayin mean things about me. I don't appreciate that! And as for leavin you alone....just say "I need to be left alone for a while" or "I need my space so please respect it and back off" Simple as that. Hope I helped. Bye love.

If they are saying means things about you get some new friends. They don't sound like they are very good ones.

Tell them..."Hey!..I don't talk about you like that!"
They're not true friends....they're only acquaintances. (big difference)
When they want to hang out tell them you have other things to do.

Don't go where they are because if you tell them that they might be very angry or they will think differently.
