We are going to Disney World on November the 5th through the 11th. We would like to stay at Disney and possibly in a Deluxe resort. We want to be able to eat three meals but not spend too much money. We are also flying from Pensacola to Orlando either early morning on the 5th or the evening of the 4th. We want this to be the best honeymoon possible but we don't want to pay too much for this and sacrifice our payments on the wedding, a house, and our student loans. Any help would be appreciated!!

My husband and I met while working at Disney World and honeymooned there as well. We had a fantastic time! Well, you have several amazing Disney hotels to choose from, including the Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, etc...
My personal favorite is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. They have the best shopping, best views, and the best restaurant on all of Disney property, Boma-Flavors of Africa!
You'll want to sign up for the Disney Dining Plan. The dining plan will save you about 40% off meals and you'll have dozens of options to choose from. It is really a great way to save some money.
Be sure you pick up the Mickey & Minnie Bride and Groom hats at any of the Disney hat shops! You'll get extra special attention from Cast Members!

Wow, to have your cake and eat it too! I went to Disney on my honeymoon and stayed at the Polynesian, however it was not cheap. You are on the right track, however. Going to Disney, honeymoon or not, staying at one of the Disney resorts IS A MUST! My favorite of all the resorts is the Polynesian (although in April I will be with the family at Saratoga Springs, so that opinion may change), but if you are worried about money, I would set my sights a little lower. The moderate resorts are all wonderful places to stay with outstanding service. You won't have the monorail, but you can take the bus service. My favorite of this level is the Caribbean Beach resort. I stayed there on my last trip, and I thought it was incredible. The service was what you would expect from Disney, and the rooms are nicer and bigger than the value resorts. There are less kids running around, and there is a sit down restaurant along side the food court. Be realistic with yourself. Sit down and map out your budget. It is easy to go on www.disneyworld.com and find out what you are looking at in terms of price, then make your determination.

One other suggestion I have is to book your trip as soon as possible. The reason for that is you can make payments to your package, then the honeymoon is paid for before you leave, passes and all. I used do to that all the time, and gave myself plenty of time to pay for the trip before I left. I know you guys want to go crazy, but be smart. There will be plenty of time for crazy later. Try www.disneyworld.com and get a quote. Also, if you call Disney they sometimes have deals for the Bride and Groom. Also, pick up the Birnbaum's guide to WDW. There are a ton of guide books out there, but that one works the best for us. I know there is a section in the book about weddings and honeymoon stays.

Have a great trip and congratulations!!

If you want to stay at a deluxe site - the suggestions here already are all great.

My two cents is if you stay at the Wilderness Lodge - be prepared for riding in buses, as the monorail does not go through here like it does at the Floridian, Contemporary or Polynesian. In fact, those are the only three resorts with the monorail stopping right at the hotel. There is a ferry to the Magic Kingdom - so that's good.

The Yacht and Beach Club are both excellent if you are a big Epcot fan, as you can walk or take a ferry there, and if you like swimming, you have the best pool from any resort right at your hotel, it's fabulous. It's also a ferry ride to MGM from these two.

Animal Lodge is again, going to require a lot of buses to get anywhere, but I can't critique it as I've never stayed there.

I only mention the transportation because for us, it really mattered, we didn't want to stand around waiting in too many lines for buses, so we like to be in a hotel on the monorail path for Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Disney World is an expensive vacation BUT it is really worth it. Since you have some months to save some extra cash, I would strongly suggest you do so. Start by maybe putting back $20 a week for a Disney Fund. Put a jar in the kitchen for loose change and what you save in the jar, treat yourself to one of the nicer resturants there.

I would definitely stay in one of Disney's hotels. The deluxe hotels are really nice but you can stay at a moderate hotel and have a great experience if you are looking to save a bit. And remember if you stay on the property you can visit ANY Disney hotel. You can even swim at their pools.

I know you said you want to eat 3 meals a day but you can always bring stuff to eat for breakfast. Maybe breakfast bars, pop tarts or granola bars. This will save you some money also.

Good luck and have a great time! Disney is a great experience and well worth it.

Congrats!

Ofcourse it depends on your likes and dislikes but my first thought was to check out the Wilderness Lodge at disney. It's my favorite and is considered a deluxe resort. They have a honeymoon suite there which is very nice and has a jacuzzi for two and a kingbed. It's close to Magic Kingdom (by ferry boat) and although rustic has so many things in that area of the disney property to do and see.
Congratulations!

The most reasonable Disney deluxe resorts are Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Yacht and Beach Clubs also have rooms with fold-out king sized Murphy beds.
Do your research to save money. Check websites and compare.
As far as the airport, that's no big deal. Magic Express will pick you up at the airport, and take you back when your trip is over. Congratulations!

I am planning my vacation as well.

Okay so days of starring at the internet.

Save you time:

go to either vacationcorps.com or hotwire.com

Both amazing vacation pkg deals.

CHEAPEST I have found 4-5 star hotel prices.

I am looking at the Peabody Hotel -4 star, and its like 500 total for 2 people with round trip flights.. and the best fancy hotel I would have to say.. and if you go to Peabody Hotel Website - You;ll be looking at almost 250-1000 a night for just the hotel.

So these two sites, expecially hotwire.com is saving me tons.

As far as admission tickets- just buy from the actual sites, like disney and universal, because there are ton;s of scammers out there..be careful.

Also don;t forget if your a AAA member to call them and ask them about admission ticket prices before u buy them from the actual sites, and ask the sites about at the door cost vs online cost.
(Admission tickets--are the most expensive part of the trip!)

hope this lengthy detailed answer helps!

Wow to have and want it all! Start clipping coupons at different sites and for the restaurants...
Neighbor went and rented a house type arrangement and got off reasonable but you have to reserve in advance.
