Better beer, better weed, no Bush, better hockey players, not as many obese people. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the U.S., but these are some of the reasons I choose to live here on the west coast of canada.

From a Canadian view these are the thing I appreciate about my country. Not have ever lived in the US I can't do a comparison.
Clean. Air water and cities
Health care no matter what - any person can walk into any hospital and get treatment.
Low crime rate, especially gun violence - in fact I'm 43 and never seen a handgun in a private persons possession
The Climate where I live is great - this is the first year in 10 years we have had to miss our new years day golf game due to weather
Here cultures and races try to get along but maintain their own traditions - I recently attended a Sikh wedding although I stood out as a white person i was made to feel comfortable while Learning about the ceremony

1. National Healthcare system.
2. Low crime rate.
3. Open-minded mentality. (Nude beaches, decriminalization of cannabis, legalization of same-sex marriage.)
4. Better rate of pay and smaller income gap. (An impressive array of data shows that Canadians live longer, healthier lives than we do. What's more, they pay roughly half as much per capita as we do ($2,163 versus $4,887 in 2001) for the privilege.)
