Generally, here is what the columns look like right before you enter a custom ranked or non-ranked match.

Column 1: Host
Column 2: Map
Column 3: # of Players
Column 4: ?


There are colored bars in the column that has the question mark and these bars are sometimes blue (qty.3), yellow (qty.2) or red (qty.1). What do these colored bars represent?

One red bar means a bad connection. Never join these. Two yellow is a decent connection but will still lag and drop matches sometimes. Three green bars means that there is a good connection and these maps should run much smoother and there is much less likelyhood of lag so people will not quit as much. I won't even play a map if it's not green.
