What do I do about my annoying co-worker? She's driving me insane!?

Question

We have to share an office. She talks on her phone all day, and if she isn't talking her phone is ringing at top notch volume with an annoying ringtone.
She eats junk food non-stop all day and it grosses me out, she yells when she talks, she's negative. She has lengthy conversations with other co-workers in our ofice while I am trying to work.
Going to the boss will do no good, as he already has one foot out of the door here. She has been here for 4 years, I have been here for 1 year.
What on earth can I do? It's driving me insane.

sweetie, i know how u feel. i don't share an actual office, but we are in close quarters, and i work w/someone who is sooo negative, it drives me nuts. everything is wrong with everything all the time, can't ever say something good is going to happen. it's tough, all i can really say is try to ignore it, which can be nearly impossible i know. your not the only one!!

ask for a seperate office due to noise control. You don't have to give the co-workers name and since your boss is on the way out then he should have no problem with finding you a new spot.

Otherwise, you could always wait till you get a new boss and then complain. Be sure to be the first to complain, however; because the new boss will be eager to show off his/her new position by taking action. Good Luck!!

DRIVE HER INSANE!

Create a new e-mail account with her name on yahoo or something and send it to her work e-mail address all day with random messages. You could include links about junk food, being too negative, gossiping at work; this may straighten out the problem a bit!

If not, it will drive her crazy having e-mails coming in to her from herself! Use the computers at your local library.


If you don't feel comfortable doing that, start hanging up all kinds of positive messages around your space.

he's in all probability the two an somewhat unhappy individual at artwork because of the fact his artwork overall performance isn't as sturdy as yours, or it in basic terms isn't as much as snuff, or he in basic terms is a depressing or unhappy individual at first. He feels like he "acts out" inappropriately like a baby to get interest yet in user-friendly terms does it to human beings he knows he can get a reaction from. there is in user-friendly terms one thank you to remedy this occasion. it may be puzzling, yet have confidence me, that is going to artwork. in basic terms forget approximately him. by technique of ignoring him you're actually not feeding into his insecurities and his beside the point habit and he won't be getting what he needs. He quicker or later will end what he's doing altogether or will circulate onto somebody else. If by technique of a few strange probability that he does have a "weigh down" or the likes on then you definately he's extremely immature and does not even deserve a 2nd theory. attempt ignoring him, it particularly is going to be puzzling, yet will pay off in th end. sturdy success. have you tried talking to her and simply saying- i would appreciate if you turn down your ringer, talk more quietly, etc because it is distracting me from my work. Thank you.
