I'm looking for daily temperatures and rainfall for various cities for a long enough time span (6+months), as well as their average daily rainfall and temperature for a several year span

There are several very reliable sources on the net. they are http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=Mecca%2C+Saudi+Arabia
Just type in your zip code, or city in the upper left


And the National Weather Forecast Office site for whichever city you are looking for can be found at
http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.php?wfo=lwx Click where it says "here" to get to the weather office that you are looking for.

They have tones of info on the weather for the ,past ,presant and future.

I like this weather web site, I use it almost every day.
