Anyone who would do that would not only be rude, but unnecessarily hurtful to greet anyone by saying your are fat or stupid or ugly or too thin, or anything derogatory. There is an old saying, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything". It works for me.

Why? Is that what you are planning to do to some unsuspecting overweight girl?
It is pretty mean, but I also think that telling someone that they are ugly or smells bad is right up there.
