The day JFK was assasinated.
I was a small child and everyone around me was hysterical, acting like the world was ending and babbling about the Soviets nuking us. Some of my grade school classmates actually had nervous breakdowns. I'm sure 9/11 was the same for a lot of small children today.

When I had to make the decision to take my wife off of life support. Not only was it the longest, but also saddest day of my life.

The day both of my kids were sick and I had to take them to work with me. I love them so much but it was so hard to get all my work done while they bickered and got bored. One at work is doable. Two=the longest day of my life.

9/11 was the longest day.
I was in a building close by & My then boyfriend was working a block away from me. He told me to get out of the building. Just yelled get out of the building...I was so scared...I just jumped up left my desk & beat it out of there. My sister worked with me & I grabbed her as she was getting off of the elevator.
Then I went searching for my Boyfriend. He worked on the 50th floor & was walking down...I couldn't find him for what felt like hours...
After I did get him we stood around trying to figure out what the heck to do...Then the 2nd tower fell & we ran for our lives...I really thought I was going to die.
We hid out in a ferry depot until the air cleared and then we started walking over the bridge to Brooklyn. I was home back to Manhattan by 2:00 that afternoon but it felt like I had lived and died a few times...

Yesterday - got up too early went to bed at 2 AM because I was watching Drew on Red Eye (Fire Eyed Zombies on Fox late night) - hate the show; love Drew, but he didn't say much.
