Finding someone to date, and top/bottom problems?

Question

Firstly, how do I find someone to date? I hate using the internet, and I'm not old enough to enter a club. I don't have gay friends either to be introduced to, nor I know how to find some.

Secondly, I personally dislike using labels, so I can't call myself a top or a bottom. I used to enjoy being a top but my confidence was shaken last year so I can't be in dorminance too much. THis creates problems about like who buys the flowers, hold out the chair, pays the bill, iniaiting stuff or call back after a date.

Dating is a battlefield. the best advice someone can give you is to just be yourself and worry about making you happy rather than trying to find someone else. These things have a way of working out for themselves. if you want to meet other guys outside of the internet or the clubs, try joining a local group with common interests (gay sports teams, volunteer organizations, etc.)

Don't worry about the top/bottom thing. when you're with someone you like, it'll be obvious what to do. Someone who likes you for you won't try your confidence and you'll be more at ease with yourself. As far as flowers and chairs and dating rituals, do what feels natural. if someone doesn't like you b/c you bring flowers (or don't), then he wasn't the right for you.

Hum, well it depends on how big of a city you live in and what gay outlets they have there....could you call the bars and ask them if they know of any gay hangouts (coffee houses, restaurants, etc...)?? That will put you in touch with more people.

Sounds like you might be versitle, enjoying both top and bottm and that is a very good thing to a lot of guys.

You sound like a nice guy with old fashion values I am sure someone is going to snatch you up pretty soon!
