down our throats? Not all the heteros that visit here do this, but so many come back day after day to accuse us of doing the very thing they feel is their God given right to do to us. They have so many other areas to discuss whatever is on their minds yet their mission appears to be to destroy whatever semblance of sanity is possible in this forum with obtuse and malformed questions best asked elsewhere. Don't these people realize they have become the very thing they despise? Don't they realize how ignorant they make themselves out to be? What do you think motivates the disruptive behavior of the homophobic heteros?

This is what I think: Those folks have no where else to go to express their own opinions. When they read in the newspapers, watch the TV news programs, and listen to talk radio and hear about the issues important to the GLBT community they want to fight for their beliefs. What better place to go than those who are trying to "corrupt" their country, state, city, town, even family? Many of them would find similar opinions in other forums but why preach to the choir? The politicians and political pundits and even the media have told them that the GLBT community is what is wrong with this world and they (the straight folks) want to "fight" that.
It's a shame that so many are abusive and close-minded. No matter how often we say "walk in my shoes" or "judge not lest ye be judged" or even "Eff you" will they consider our viewpoint. They simply will not ever understand what it is to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered.
We could always agree to disagree but so many use hate as their weapon that it's difficult for us to just ignore them. We have respect and pride and feel we are honor-bound to fight back.
These issues will never be resolved, an unfortunate reality for us. All we can do is be supportive of one another and continue to love each other.

Hi.
I'm a straight lady who seems to be answering questions here from that point of view. People are people and issues are issues; I don't harrass or pretend to be something I'm not. I also enjoy getting two points from Ogre or whatever she wants to call herself today. I suspect she's responsible for my getting one thumbs down on almost every answer I post. That's a badge of honour.
I sometimes go to the all categories list and when I answer a q, I tend to stay on that section. So I have a bunch of answers in Math, politics, beauty/fashion/makeup, a few other categories and here.
Be yourselves, and the way to get rid of the trolls is to ignore them. Or if you're bored, go to the questions they answered and give them a thumbs down or follow-up pointing out how wrong they are. :)

Because some people a hate-mongers, and in this point in time, homosexuality is the only safe outlet for their sad, pointless motivation in their lives.
Hopefully, soon, the F-word that rhymes with maggot will be as socially and legally unacceptable as a particular N-word, and the harassment that goes with it.

Good Question. Cuz thats just the way people are. People are evil. Its pretty pathetic that they go out of there way to bring people down when the person already has enough going on. I just try to ignore them and focus on all the good people like you guys on here. Hey have any of u guys talked to Olga? That ape reported me!

[Aside] I'm confused. I could've sworn that Chris Farris and Pink Mafia were the same person, as I was certain that I answered a Pink Mafia question about his wife leaving him for a woman - only next time I looked it was Chris Farris. I must be losing my mind.

They have mental health problems like Pink Mafia. They come on here being homophobic and saying how much gays disgust them. Then they spend hours on the gay section each day. There is a mental health area on this site, it’s a pity they didn’t spend more time on that.

they are consumed and reek of hatred....and they can think of nothing other than spreading their boring lifestyle down our throats. I mean...look over half of them walking around in the mall or store.....trying to bond and act like they are happy...most men are bored and waiting on the wife and the wife is wondering whats wrong with the husband....lets face it.....most of them dont belong with each other ......so they want to hound us and our lifestyle........

This isn't a gay only site. Learn to ignore others if you don't like what they say and don't judge others as you wish not to be judged yourself.
