I'm a ts and want to become a hairstylist or makeup artist, how do I do it?

I'm transsexual girl who at this point doesn't live full time... so I guess to society's eyes I am a cross dresser right now. I do plan to transition full time as a woman, but want to work as a hairstylist or makeup artist/nail girl, whether or not I'm living as a woman fulltime by then.
Do you think people would have a problem with a transsexual woman styling their hair or doing their makeup/nails? Or have you ever met one who's done yours?

And... how do I go about getting these jobs?

I know a ton of drag queens who are makeup artists or hair stylists... Of course this is different from being trans, but many of them are open about themselves at work. I've known people who's clients come to their drag shows to support them.

Obviously being trans is completely different from drag, but the point is that people will get over it.

Regardless of your sexuality, I wouldn't recommend getting into cosmetology at all- there are just too many people doing it. I know several people who went to cosmetology school but cannot make a living at it, so all that time and expense resulted in them giving haircuts etc. to their family and friends for next to nothing. You have to be really good, and really lucky to make a living at it, and preferably own your own shop. Find another field- and good luck to you.

I've had men and women do my hair and nails. I prefer women just because we're chattier and I LOVE to talk. :)
