I am really confused...I used to be size 1 (basically the smallest size they carry) in jeans, but suddenly my thighs started to fill out more, and now it seems like no jeans fit! I went to all my fave stores...American Eagle, Forever 21, PacSun...and nothing fit well! Its like the bottom half of my legs is a size 1 but the top half filled out so I have curves I dont know what do to with. Does anyone know any good line of jeans that still carrys small sizes (im a relativly thin person) but has a bigger butt area and still looks cute? lol help me.

p.s- what are some good styles for summer?

those stores sell junior sizes which always seem tight in the thigh area, you need to buy jeans in women's sizes. heres a hip size chart in inches to help you chose the rigt women's size:

size hips
00 - 32
0 - 33
2 - 34
4 - 35
6 - 36
8 - 37
10 - 38
12 - 39

Hope this helps you!

As you get older and your body changes, which is normal you may have to go up a size, but you also may have to go up in price for jeans. A good brand for those that don't want to hit the way over priced, but are still considered more of a "junior" line is Miss Sixty. Also, a lot of their jeans have lycra, which is more forgiving around the bottom, but tighter at the waist. Another brand, one that does go on sale, might be Guess, or you might consider Lucky Brand.
I do think that the more you spend the better chance of a good fit, but then you move into things like 7 for All Mankind and Citizens (one of the best fitting jeans out there) but you are talking way over $100. You can always try on different styles in stores, especially as their different styles run so differently, and then head to ebay to find the jeans a lot cheaper.
For the summer go towards sort of culottes, and shorts with cuffs. Look at the joie brand for ideas, but the prices are probably way too much, but these again can be found on ebay.
Remember, if you do go into a better jean you are no looking at sizes like 1, 2,4, etc, you move into 25, 27, 29. I think you would be between a 25 and a 27. You can probably head to a store like macy's to find what you want to try on.
But, it is true that sizing has changed in not only jeans in all clothing. They are cutting clothing smaller now. So, don't get bent out of shape if you were once a size 1 and now find you wear a 2. it's not so much that you have put on weight, just the sizing has changed.

I was a size 8 and am now happy with a size 10 and weigh the same, if not a little less.

Girl, I totally sypathize. I went through that in the last couple of years as well, and it really sucked. But I will tell you that there's light at the end of the tunnel. I switched to ladies sizes becasue they have more room in the hip and thigh area than juniors, as well as a bit of a longer rise, which means your butt will be covered without your seam getting shoved you-know-where. Juniors' sizes also made my butt look flat, whereas ladies don't, and you can still get all the same styles. I recently found the Chip and Pepper jeans fit me really great. (and I have a small waist and a bit of a tush too) Yes, they are priceier, but you can find them on Ebay for 1/4-1/3 of the regular retail price.
Also, if you go onto
zafu.com
they have a jeans finder you can use to help give you a starting point of brands that might work for you. You put in your measurements and how you want your jeans to fit, and they search through thousands jeans to find ones that would fit you. Then you can search through them by style and they will tell you what size should fit you, and how it will fit you in the thigh, hip, waist and length. It's really great, and it helped me out a ton.
Good luck sister!

I am a size 1, but, sometimes, I go up a size. I'm 5'5", weigh about 100 pounds). I buy Brazilian Jeans that come in size 1,2,3 for one size, and they are cute, and great fitting! Go to Ebay, look up Brazilian Jeans, or go to Kool Kitten's Clothing on Ebay and just look at her jeans! They get me complements from EVERYONE, and they feel so great! They are really cute, in style, and would cost about $200 or more, if I didn't buy them from Laurie, at that Ebay store. She charges about $49, $59 a pair, and they are fantastic! Try it! It is really hard to find really cute stuff in our size, isn't it?

Well maybe go to some stores that you like and ask a person that works there if they have any sizes for you body and maybe they could tell you some other stores or they might have your size!

P.s. some good styles for summer are probably shorts and skirts but it depends on the weather from where you are at!

Kohl's Junior Dept. They have lovely jeans for your size. I don't know the names, but the selection is great. Jordache is a great line for girls who have thin figures. Macy's carries that line. Try Macy's junior dept. too. Also H & M Clothing. Best of Luck

You need to measure you waist, hip, rise, and inseam. That will tell you what size of pants you can wear. I'm linking to a chart and instructions that may help you understand what will fit. Get a measuring tape out.

Have you tried on size 2 jeans? Maybe your brands have changed their pattern.
