A recent New Idea cover showing Britney shortly before she checked into rehab 10 days ago.
Britney Spears attempted suicide in rehab last week, according to The News of the World.
The paper claims Britney also wrote devil's number, 666, on her shaved head and began screaming "I am the Antichrist!" at frightened clinic staff.
"She was crying, and shouting, 'I am the Antichrist!' a source told the paper.
"The clinic people just didn't know what to do. Then she started screaming, 'I'm a fake! I'm a fake!' It must have been really frightening.
"Later that night she tried to kill herself," the source said. "Paramedics were called, but luckily she was unhurt."
"When she tried to kill herself it was more a cry for help."

When her and Christina Aguilera came out I thought she was the better of the two, but Christina has done nothing to bring herself attention like that she has got attention from the media only from her good work. Unlike Britney who has gone from good to horrible. Poor girl she didnt have a childhood I just feel really bad for her kids. They would be better off with K-fed

Its all a reaction from coming off of the drugs and going on antidepressants and mood stabilizers. Shes going thru a detox and its not easy for anyone. Plus, shes going thru a divorce and custody battle, not to mention what the media is doing to her. Im not a fan, but I have family members that have gone thru what shes going thru with the drugs. Its not easy. My sister also tried to kill herself in rehab. My sister has children like Britney, but they dont think about that. All they can think about, is how much theyre hurting. I hope she recovers from it all.*

I believe that whoever wrote this wanted their story to sell and make the money. if she had tried it would be on the front of every newspaper and magazine cover in the world.

i think she is just a low point her life and she dont know if she coming or going yes she did try to kill her self and i hope she gets help if not she will be the next anna

That's very scary. I knew that there was something wrong with her even before she started doing all that wierd crap, like shaving her head.

i do not believe it simply because "people at the clinic" did not know what to do" ...they are professionals.they should know what to do and how to treat patients in these crises for crying out loud!!
