I have one of those too! :)
Stand your ground, try to make her outburst happen in front of other people, so its not your word against hers. Keep your nose clean at work.... IE be on time, delete personal emails, dont keep personal things in your desk etc etc. The one at my job is very vindictive and would use anything I leave around against me.
Keep some sort of tab on the events that happen (write them down with dates, times and places)
Once you have enough info go to a supervisor that youa re comfortable talking with. Make sure you dont come off as whiny or bitchy about this. Bring your evidence and explain that her actions are causing a disruption in your work. Dont ask them to do anything about it, but ask them for their advice on how to handle the situation. This will show them that you are the more mature party and are capable of continuing to be professional.

Several options available...
Is she your boss?
Really doesn't matter if she is or not...confront her about it. Tell her what you think and how you feel.
Her being "all in your face" is not a pleasant thing and most people want honesty. If she wants to be controlloing then let her sink her own ship 'so to speak' and go to her boss.
If you work hard and do what is expected of you then you should have no problems.
I had a boss like that one time...she was always b itching to some one or something. She had numerous complaints against her and she evebtuall was demoted then fired.
One bad apple will spoil the whole bunch, she is taking down moral of everyone.

professional environment or not, you can always confront her in the back room when its just the two of you. let her know that her attitude is unacceptable and you wont take any more of her sh*t so she needs to get her act together! are you new or something? maybe shes jealous or feels threatened. if you dont feel comfortable talking to her directly, have the manager or supervisor do it, or have someone there to mediate. but dont get bent out of shape, because thats probably just what she wants.

I had the same problem, I wanted to put exlax in her brownies as one suggestion i got from yahoo!! but, I chose to be totally professional w/her and just not let her bother me, and talk only when I absolutely had to. She has my old job, due to health reasons, I was offered a lateral position, but she walks around here like she is some type of queen, and doesn't even manage like she is supposed to do. She just passes her work on to others, and sits /emails friends, etc

Is this girl your supervisor? If not, then go talk to you Supervisor about her. You are probably not the only person who is having these problems. Usually when someone acts this way toward you at work it's because they feel threatened by you, like maybe she thinks you're out to get her job. Or maybe you're prettier than she is, in any case you need to handle it before it gets ugly.

i stumbled on out I were a witch in yet another existence from a psychic. I didn’t count number on both until eventually then. It hit my heart confusing, she became easily suitable. From that day i have believed in reincarnation, that’s replaced my finished existence for the more suitable positive. i stumbled on what a number of my previous incarnations were, and it released me from fears that were no longer from this lifetime. through meditation, i have stumbled on I particularly have many psychic skills I in no way knew about. i recognize the concept of, “Do what you'll, yet damage no man or woman.” in case you examine the principles Of concept written by technique of The Council of yank Witches, it explains why i recognize the Wiccan faith a lot. i'm a solitary practitioner, so i'm very careful. I take position to be a Witch who worships the Christian God, yet no longer the former testomony one. the only it truly is in each and each of the religions I studied, only a diverse tag on Him/Her. I placed what touched my heart from each and each faith I studied, and added all of them jointly. i finished up with a residing faith that grows and matures as I do. There’s a lot I’d favor to inform you, yet I worry my area is used up. i could dearly like to be revealed. i wanted to be a minister, yet couldn't hit upon a faith i could upward thrust up for, or have self belief one hundred% of the time. Now I particularly have it. Blessed Be

Swallow your annoyance and try to find some positive in her behavior. Give her friendly smiles and compliments. Communicate to her how you respect her drive for the business, and how you would like to get along better with her. Maybe bring in a delicious snack and offer for her to sit with you and have some. Try and get to know her on a personal level. Make it intimate, and maybe she will turn out to be your friend.

Consider telling her that if she doesn't back off, you will be going to your boss or personnel office to pursue harrassment charges against her. And, I would contact personnel and discuss the situation with them and see what your options are. NO ONE should go to work and be mistreated by one of their coworkers!!
