That is definately your baby!!!!! That is exactly what it feels like! And you won't feel it everyday until you are a little farther a long. The baby doesn't have aregular schedule yet. Well congrats and I hope all goes well all throughout your pregnancy!

I think the reason they say that is because women who have had more than one child know what it feels like when the baby moves, so they know what they are looking for in the second pregnancy. Often first-time mothers think that the baby's movements are gas or something else. Since you lost your first baby so early, it probably won't affect when you feel this one.
What you are feeling is probably your little one though! That's exactly what mine felt like at 16 weeks when I started feeling her. Enjoy it now - when the baby gets stronger it's not always so cute. I woke up this morning to my daughter using her feet to play xylophone on my ribs - ouch!
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, but congratulations and good luck with the new baby!

You are probably feeling the beginnings of your little one moving around in there. I had the exact same thing happen to me. I miscarried my first at 11 weeks. Then when I got pregnant again, I wondered if I would feel anything earlier. I actually felt the little "air pops" and little flicks for a week or so, and then when I was 19 1/2 weeks, the day of my ultrasound actually, I felt something quite a bit bigger. It felt like someone flicked the inside of my stomach quite a bit harder than usual. I knew for sure that was the baby. And now I am 39 weeks and she just wont stop moving around in there. The little gentle flicks are gone, and now its rolling and turning, all day and night long. Good luck with your little bundle of joy.

Baby movements (quickening) can feel like bubbles, light tapping, flutters, swishes, or even like a goldfist swimming inside you! I felt my first around 15 weeks (a little over 2 weeks ago), and they've been increading in intensity. So you don't confuse it with gas, stay away from foods that give you gas, then right before bed lay down in a comfortable position and eat something loaded with carbs or sugar. You should be able to feel the baby respond to this influx of tasty food :) Good luck!

I felt like rumbles in my belly at about 18 weeks every once in a while but I didn't feel kicks and frequent moving until around 24 weeks so there is nothing to worry about some people just don't feel anything until the kicks and things start so don't worry and be patient when you do start to feel them you will be happy or not b/c sometimes they keep u up in the middle of the night moving and kicking.

the reason moms feel the baby earlier in subsequent pregnancies is because they knew what it felt like in previous ones. Since you never felt the first one, in this case, you can consider it your first pregnancy.
But 18 weeks is certainly possible to be feeling things. And it does feel like gas bubbles.
I felt my daughter at 21 weeks and this one at 17 weeks. Chances are that you are feeling the baby.
