I highly suggest Mary Kay! You aren't going to find a makeup (only) anywhere that makes your skin healthy. The key is having a good skin care program along with great color products, and you will find all of this through a local Mary Kay consultant. (They come to you and help you with anything you need. Let you try all the products prior to purchasing...it's wonderful service. Not to mention they also help you with correct application or anything else you might need.) Just go to www.marykay.com and you can locate a local consultant by putting your zip code in!!! I highly suggest this, you won't be disappointed!! By the way, Mary Kay foundation is Non comodogenic (I think that's the correct spelling), in other words, it does not clog your pores. Not to mention it is very light and fluffy so you can't even tell it is on. Plus it is non transferable...(doesn't rub off onto clothes when hugging someone or changing clothes....) They also offer anti aging products that help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I could go on and on, but I am sure you got the point.

A good skin care routine helps your skin look healthier. Microdermabrasion will give you instant result however you need to continue caring for the skin or you will have the same problem again.
I have been using Mary Kay products for almost 10 years now. My skin gets softer and softer. I am 40 and people don't believe me. I was so happy with the products 2 1\2 years ago I decided to start selling it just for the 50% discount. I would be happy to send you samples.

Clinique is a great line. They also have a pore minimizer category to help reduces the look of larger pores. Nothing will actually change their size though. In order to look good with makeup, it is important to have good health skin first. Good luck!

There is No makeup that will Cure your Face! Try Putting something UNDER your Foundation! I really like the CLEAR Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10, Maximum Strength. Place those over your "Spots" and then Apply your Foundation. Something you MIGHT want to try is going from a Foundation to a COLORED Loose Powder. Should help a bit! Foundation clogs pores like none other!

The minerals makeup seems to be the best. I used to have problem skin, I started using Bare Escentuals and my skin is signifigantly better. Loreal maked a less expensive version of the makeup called bare natureal, I ahvent tried it but my friend says it is just as good as the expensive stuff. She gets it at Walmart for $13.00, the Bare escentuals can be bought online for about $25.00 and one jar lasts forever. Also, try St Ives Apricot Scrub for Blemish & Blackhead control. It has acne medication in it but will not overdry your skin....good luck

Clinique is known for being the makeup that actually helps your skin to get better! There are so many types of makeup in the Cllinique line that you can always find the right styles for yourself. Try it! I had to buy it at a dept. store. Try Gottschalks, if you have one. You will like how your skin just loves the stuff!

i have not tried any of the makeup brands that promote healthier skin, but i haven't exactly heard anything to the contrary of their claims. i personally stay away from foundations, as they seem thick and heavier than powder. to me that means clogged pores, and ultimately blemishes.
just make sure whatever you use on your face, you wash it off every night. doesn't matter how good the product is, if you leave it on, it won't help you one bit.
***giddygirl, makeup doesn't MAKE pores. you have the pores you have always had. it may CLOG them or make them more visible, but it's not going to create any new ones.

I've never tried it, but people rave about Bare Minerals make-up line. The minerals supposedly are healthier for your skin than the standard ingredients in the usual make-up.

You know? I had rosecia...and all kind of red skin inflammation. Clinique is the best thing I have ever tried...I use their superbalance and the loose powder., My skin looked different overnight...it really looks good and very mild. Also,, washing your face with a moisturizing soap helps.... I use one made of olive oil...then after I was my face at night...I apply a moisturizer...It works wonders...
