ok i had a computer charger hp.. and it had torn.. so we had bought one around decmember... of 2006 just last year and today... i woke up this morning with it torn?? i dont get it is there a warranty where i just get a new one for free because there is no reason why it torn??

Ok let me try to rephrase this lol...
I bought it around december almost january it was just about the end of the month this was 2006 jsut last year... and it ripped near the top again!
is it still under warranty?

are you putting a strain on it, is the power box in the middle of the cord suspeneded in mid air. That usually happens with there is a lot of strain put on it. If you cord tied up in others and tangles? I suggest buy one more and stretch the cord out and do not bunch it up.
