like loving the thoughts or the mind of the person but not totally acepting the person for what he is..eg. the person is smart but he behaves indeffirently.

Intelligence is not the only measure of the mind. There's personality to account for as well. The smart jerk has emotional and other mental issues that may or may not affect the way one can view his mind. I tend not to respect people who flaunt intelligence, because they haven't learned enough of the basics of civility for me to take their minds and persons seriously.

Mind and soul are very similar in meaning. But as Descartes shows in his Meditations very clearly (by speaking of psycho-somatic behavior for instance) mind and body are ultimately a unity.

i really think that we can separate the mind because pain or others ways of the feeling does not actually exist by it self, we create everything, could one leg control my mind? no, man. if you think about some place far from you, u can transport your mind but your body stay still. the mind is the biggest slot of the bible, reflexion that.

yes you can enjoy the mind of a person without accepting ther bad actions! is not that what friendship is ?
