I hear a lot of talk in movies, radio, other people about people going to find themselves. What is that really supposed to mean? How do you find yourself?

A big part of "finding yourself" involves not dwelling on it. The more you dwell on it, the further you'll be from really finding yourself.. Doing what you do on a daily basis, getting into things you've always wanted to do, taking some class that you're interested in, pursuing your career, making new friends, traveling... and many many more things. I can assure you that if you continue on your path of achieving your goals and satisfying your curiousity... that is when you'll find yourself. You don't even have to be completely aware of it... you'll just be satisfied and happy.. Good luck :)

The yellow pages. seriously, 'finding yourself' is a bit of an overrated crock in my opinion. It makes it sound like an actual journey on search for some lost treasure that will make your life complete. Just live. You can't go to it, it will come to you. Just live, don't stress about it and the world will unfold as it should.

This is one of the oldest questions mankind has ever asked itself.

You find yourself by growing up and experiencing as much as you can - both good as well as bad and getting as much education as you can possibly get.

You learn about the world and you learn what to expect out of the world and just what the world expects out of you.

You try to become the person that God wants you to be to God, your family, your employer, your neighbors, your loved ones and relatives, - and when you have done all this - God then allows you to 'find yourself"!

Its similar to "finding Happiness"!

One does not "Find" Happiness! Happiness "finds" the person when God thinks you are ready for it!

It means people have too much time on their hands. Keep busy doing things that interest you and you'll never need to figure out how to find yourself.
