I have recieved a letter from the courts saying that nationwide have put in a defence.They have another how many days now ? And also on the 28th march i have to file the judgement form off to the courts,what is this judgement and will the bank pay up them ? Please can some one explain to me Thanks

So the banks will pay up before you file for judgement which is on the 28thmarch ? What happens if they still dont budge,after this date ?

Judgement is for the Courts to rule in your favour.

However the banks don't want that to happen, so they will try to get the case dismissed - since that isn't going to happen either, they will usually they pay up a day of two before the Court case is due for Judgement.

So you should receive your money on the 26th or so.

If you get judgement in your favour, probably because the bank doesn't turn up at court, then you enforce it through a bailiff. He will endeavour to collect the funds on your behalf, and his charges will be recovered from the bank.
