some people say now that black people stood up for there rights to be treated equal and now there pretty much treated fairly that th white people are picking on the mexicans now who don't revolt as much do you think this is true?

Bigots are going to be bigots regardless of what you do, so screw them. Now, I think the problem is with the illegal immigrants. That's the only rationale thing to be angry about seeing as though our entire country was built by immigrants of all nations.

I'm black and i've found out that just because i'm a minority doesn't mean I get this heckle-free card. People target everybody - black, WHITES, asians, hispanics, overweight people, gay people, little people, poor people, rich people.

Never going to change. But by understanding that you're not the only one can help you to better cope with the few idiots who come your way.

Not everyone treats Mexicans badly,
I live in Canada and have found that the hardest workers i have ever seen have come from Mexico. as far as the so called brown
Some Americans feel as Canadians, we would rather have hard working trustworthy Mexicans than the millions of stupid,
lazy welfare families that call themselves Americans.

I have nothing against Mexicans,they are very hard workers. The only thing I would like to see is that they learn English and abide by the same rules and laws as everyone else. No special benefits.

have you ever been watched and followed around a store for no reason? have you ever been walking down the street in a "white" neighborhood and the same car keeps driving around the block to see which house you go to? have cops ever stopped you and asked what you're doing in awhite neighborhood? have you ever seen the looks of disbelief when you tell them that you live there? have you ever been put in cuffs just cuz a cop thought you were somewhere you didn't belong when you actually lived right down the street? black people still aren't treated fairly.

Its not an issue with the mexican population, its an issue with the illegal population. Every other race that came here, had to learn to speak the language, had to fight and work hard to be here.
You have to understand why the American people have these issues.

Unfortunately, we all seem to have this pathological need to label someone or some group as "the other, the outsider". Yes, it would appear that Chicanos are today's (the N word). Chicanos, and Muslims, and Gays, and multilingual folks... Really too bad, isn't it?
