Which anime do think is the best.

I've seen each one & it's hard to say that one's better than the other. See, Robotech is an 80's anime from a timeslot in "Old School" on Anime Network with human operating battle suits that are already on them. Once they activate their battle suits, they "become" a Robotech soldier. Now on the other hand, the Gundam series are a brand new spectacle of an anime that has humans entering giant battle robots. There are so many existing Gundam series, that some of them have never seen the light of day in U.S. stores. I personally like the one Gundam Wing series where Troya Barton is on, but I REALLY hate the one Gundam series that make the robots seem cute & cuddly!! It's really hard to determine a real winner or which is the best, so I'm saying BOTH.That way I'm not fair to one anime & unfair to the other. Ok, see ya dude!!!

Gundam all the way- I think the anime is not bad and the music and sound effects of the Gundams are better than the ones in Robotech.

id say robotech sure there were many seasons for gundam but they were not space operas. robotech had characters fall in love die ect.
gundam was mainly a mech show. it'd be like comparing zoids to transformers.
you must remember the years they came out, the advancements in animation.

Definitely Gundam. Its not only about hightech stuff and galactic battles, but it has a very strong storyline. Thats why Gundam trend is residing within the fans for so long.

if based on story line i'll say robotech..
but if it is based on the animation itself i prefer gundam

I like Gundam, I guess becouse of the longevity, interesting characters, nice mobile suits.
Even if the storylines tend to repeat themselfs.
I still think its one of the best.

Gundam by far - so damn cool and realistic for something set so far in the future. It actually has emotion and lies tied up with some damn good action.
