Dont you remember that it was cool to be "street"? aka ghetto,hardcore,gangsta. That attitude had no room for success.
Also in school.. how many of us were actually rewarded for hardwork and study?
Sure you got an A,but so did the guy with LD classes and the Football player that did nothing still got a B.

I don't think they are unmotivated. Most are running their lives just fine.
I do believe that many in this age group have a general feeling that no matter what they do it won't make a difference. I think that leads to both anger and apathy.

See the thing the way life pattern has changed, rapid urbanisation, basically people in age group , who are deviod of technology does not feel that this new space belongs to them, so try to find out their old space/parents/wife.......
basically try to seeek solitude....

Because they grew up in the 'me' generation. Everything that whined to their parents that they wanted, they got. No motivation to work for something when it was handed to them.

there is no motivation to do anything like moving
that is y we are becoming fat and lazy(im guilty too)
