Hi, I'm living and working in Los Pocillos in Puerto del Carmen. I can see Matagorda from the office! It depends where you want to go in Puerto del Carmen, if you want to get to the edge closest to Matagorda, you could walk it in 10 minutes at a slow pace. If you want to get to the old town down at the harbour then its about 6km from Matagorda and a taxi would probably cost you around 8€. There is however a bus that goes from Matagorda to the old town and costs about 60 cents! Bargain!! Hope you have a nice time when you're here!!

I stayed at Sol Lanzarote in Matagorda last summer and it cost 5 euros for a taxi to the 'old town' P.del Carmen. Thats at the far end of PdC coming from Matagorda.
