You aren't using the word "paradox" correctly. Paradoxes generally defy common sense or intuition. For example, it seems entirely sensical to me that too many cookies might kill a diabetic while they might merely give others an upset stomache. The question you are asking is more of an adage than a paradox.

I like your Q. It makes one think. Well! Unfortunately I think it's all too true for both sexes.
However this is just about Men right now. So My reply. The Antidote.
1. Know yourself, what you want , need, desire in another. Go for that type with a margin of surprise too.Be true to yourself and make choices in a Positive vein not out of negativity ie fear of being alone, low self esteem etc.
2. Take things slowly let the Relationship what ever kind it is, lovers, friends etc. to develop and enjoy the journey.
3. Don't give away your power and allow the other to dictate your feelings , choices.only you can do that. Look at her, with your mind, heart, not your genitalia.
4. Sort out problems as they arise. Don't leave it until the Relationship is toxic.
That's it. Ciao

Most people detest suffering and carnage, but there are a few people who thrive on such things. Most people enjoy companionship and friends, but there are people out there who truly would rather be alone 100% of the time. Everyone's just a bit different, and no two peoples' lifetime experience is identical. As such, there are some things which some of us will relate to fondly, while the next guy might have terrible memories as a result.

The only true solution would be utter destruction of the human race, since no other solution would be so permanent and guaranteed of success.

as with all things i may be able to enjoy a thing/food that would cause you to feel as if you have done wrong by eating it or do it .for example a Christan can eat pork but a Muslim would find it to be poison the antidote is love ,the christain man should not eat pork with his muslim brother lest he causes him to sin .

Paradox? Look at peanuts; some people are so allergic to them that they can't even handle them without becoming sick.
Every person's metabolism is different. There's no paradox.

Obviously, a sense of humor is the antidote... Like The budda said. "Just laugh! "

Very well executed if I do say so myself!

Although it is lost on some people... and some peanuts, apparently?

Allergies make peanuts a poison to some people. This can be the case for many other foods.
