the midwife says she is sat right there just waiting to come out, somebody please give me a suggestion, other than sex! and being patient. This is my 3rd baby, and my last 2 have both been late, definately cant go over again!!!!

no. i wouldnt ever recommend it. it makes you feel horrible and its risky.

even though you said "dont say it"....patience. you wont be pregnant forever. baby will come out. when baby is ready.

if you are concerned about being overdue again, bring it up with your doc. he/she may decide that inducing you is the best option.

This is an old wives tale. Many women used to think it kickstarted labor, but all it really did was give a woman cramps. My sister-in-law's mother said that the idea used to be that, because many women get constipated during pregnancy, getting them "cleaned out" was thought to relieve pressure on the baby, allowing it more room to move, but that ended up being a bunch of horse hockey.

NO way don't do it, only if you want a clean system just be patient, I did it four times with my oldest LOL I was desperate to get him out, and all it did was clean me out

Nope, just Vomited like crazy, No labor, and the taste was disgusting, just thinking about it now makes me want to blow chunks.

My dr absolutely advises against it. All it really accomplishes is stomach cramps and diarrhea, which can cause dehydration.

it can make you get diarrea dont try it...dont risk it
