It's not only here, it's been going on sporadically for as long as there has been an Earth, trading places from time to time with global cooling.
A more interesting question to raise in a debate would be 'when has the Earth ever had a stable climate?'

It is not if it is coming because it is already here. It has been here for along time. Scientists have been talking about it since the late 70s. The only reason we never heard about it before is because it had not become a real threat to politics. That is what it is now. Major companies, like the oil companies are threatened by global warming and the obvious solutions. There is natural global warming and then there is the accelerated global warming caused by our effects on the planet. Hope this helps. Good luck on your project.

yes, it is happening, global warming and global freezing is not some uncommon phenomena, it happens and humans have to deal with it, we can also try and do something about it. Probably wont have much luck. China, or People's Republic of China are pumping out more greenhouse gases than anyone in the world. And they do not care. They just want to become the next superpower to take the world over.

Yes in my 82 yrs I see the differences when I was in high school we played football in the snow on thanksgiving more than once that is in Virginia. In the past 25 to 30 yrs there has been no snow in Va.except maybe in the mountains.This is just one example.I could point out more but not enough room

Climate is always changing, always has, always will. There's no reason to believe that global warming is a big problem. In fact the scientists aren't sure it's even happening.

global warming is due to presence of methane and carbon di oxide.
the infrared rays of sun heat the eatrh surface and after some time,objects on earth(mountains or rocks or anything) become hot to emit infrared rays but thse are refleted to the earth by these gases and they remain inside the earth.....
yes,as amount of these gases is incresing thses days,certainly global warming is taking place

No I do not think Global warming is really coming. I do however, know that we have and will always have cold spells as well as warming spells.

Yea, like others have said.. its here already. Polar ice caps are melting, hurricanes are an effect, hotter summers, less snow... IT SNOWED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE SOUTH POLE IN 2000. >.< its obviously going to get much worse..
