Because that would make the gestation period too long. "Knowledge" is stored electrochemically in the brain; in other words, storing information is a physical process. It takes time and experiences. The exact type of knowledge that will benefit the survival of any particular being varies according to place, time and other factors. Each being with a brain learns--in the context of its own life--what it needs to learn to survive best. That can't happen without experiences. Experiences can't happen inside a womb or inside an egg. Experiences--what teaches a being--can only happen during the course of living a life in a real living environment, in the being's real world.
You live and you learn. At any rate, you live.

Biologically, we ARE born with all of the information we need. Children naturally run away from slithering snakes and such, and parents natrually care for their young. That guarantees that enough humans will survive to reproduce so the species survives.
As for more recent higher level knowledge, like how to avoid wars, or not crash in traffic, or tell good jokes all the time - that's something we have to learn on our own.

Because there is no way we would be able to have the complex thoughts that we have if we were just instrict-based. Humans are born defensless, but the females usually have a strong sense of parental investment, which allows a baby to be born with a nice soft, un fused cranium which can grow in relative safety as the mother takes care of it.
Besides, didn't you have fun learnng what you know?

I think we’re all here to learn lessons and the only way to do that is to experience certain things for ourselves. I’m a man and I know the facts about childbirth, but there’s a big difference between having that knowledge and actually experiencing it.

This really deserves to be in the Philosophy Category. However, for my part, I'll answer thus:
If we knew all we needed to know in order to succeed in life then where would be the challenge to achieve and the pleasure in doing so?

Yes, I know, and the school and collage things...Specially school, since most of the things we learned there are wasted...
And everything from collage so you don't have to study, but that's more the way of life...
