The spotting after your period sounds like implantation bleeding, which not everyone has. It's normal. You shouldn't test until a week after your expected period, just to give the hormone levels time to rise. You'll save money on blood tests and pee tests...I know the wait sucks, but you can still trust your instincts. Take prenatals and cut drinking and smoking, just in case...and try not to worry. The symptoms very well could be a little miracle!

Blood tests are the most accurate and can pick up minute traces of pregnancy hormones. A blood test can ever pick up the hormone a few days after conception!

The real question is have you spoken with your doctor about last time and your worries this time?

While you could be pregnant, it could be a hormonal imblance or something else.

Did you miss your period? If you did--take a HPT. If you don't get period #2, go to the doctor's.

Ok yes it will show up on a blood test. I was just about into my third month with my first and had to get a blood test. Go for it if you are thinking you are pregnant. The blood test will give you the right anwser, if you are or aren't

A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days following conception.
I don't see how a blood test could be wrong when after all blood don't lie.

The blood test your doctor can order for you is extremely sensitive. It will be able to detect it right away. If there is still a question he can do an internal ultrasound. That will also detect a heartbeat. Best thing to do is call your GYN.

A blood test is very accurate, much more so than a urine test. Good luck!
