actually despite what the others said Celts are probably from some where in Central Europe and they spread across Europe. Celts in Iberia modern day Spain and Portugal nearly stopped the spread of the Roman Empire but were eventually defeated by the Roman practice of divide and conquer. Iberian Celts went on to settle in Ireland and probably supplanted the original inhabitants. People have found connections between flaminco dancing and step dancing in other parts of Europe.
You can still find people in Northern Italy who play instuments that sound like instruments found in Scoctland and Ireland. And anthropologist sometimes call Celts the founders of Europe they are found in so many places

A lot of people get the "Celts" confused with the "Kelts".

"Kelts" were native to the British Isles.

"Celts" were a sub-race who were ancestral to most or all European ethnic groups.
