Starting pay is around 40K

After 20 years you can make between 60-80, depending on the qualifications. If you are a CFE or certified fraud examiner you can make around 100K after 5 years experience.

You need an associates degree in accounting or finance, and you need to get a CPA license.

Special skills - obtain AA degree, obtain CPA qual, and you must like math, its your life.

I hated my job as a CPA, it was all math, and after 6-7 hours a day, I had my can full.

I went to school for 3 years and got a bachelors in business finance, I think thats a good degree to get to be a CPA.

The CPA test is hard, it requires you to know a lot of formulas and math, as well as legal matters. I actually read the book a few times, and passed, but barely. The test took me roughly 3 hours.

The total time frame was 3 years for the degree, then another 3 months of studying, and finally the test, with the results 1 month later. A total of 3 years and 4 months for me.
