Whether he knew or not, as he is the "Boss" the ultimate responsibility for what his staff gets up to is his and his only. He can deny as much as he wants, but he is as guilty as everyone else involved.

I really honestly think that Tony blair was kept in the dark over the cash for honours as much as I believe in Santa and the tooth fairy.

The desperation for the megalomaniacs Cherie and Tony to continue living it up at number 10 knows no bounds.

Of course he is guilty, but protocol will spare him and a couple of minor back benchers and civil servants will get 40 hours community service.

After 10 years of destruction and corruption,we know the drill by now.

He knows about the probe - it's been all over the news. He probably didn't know about the original issue because any Prime minister distances themselves from party funding issues.

Teflon Tone would have known about it as he has the final word on dishing out honours.
If someone came to me and said..' Hey Tone, I just got us 2 million quid in funding'
I sure as hell would ask where it came from and how it was 'donated' and what the guy wanted in return.
But , some poor backbencher will proberly get the blame and be hung out to dry.

"Tony Blair" is such a Control-freak, that the odds of him not being aware of the whole sorry affair from it's conception until being found out: are the same as the alleged Iraqi 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' being found in one of
'Bernard Mathews' Turkey Sheds !
"Oh S**t ! I forgot that is a Weapon of Mass Destruction..!

Yes, it would be a prerequisite. If he was too close to it he would be guilty by implication. Watch this space, and watch others heads roll, if any do, but his will not be one of them. Trust me, I am the attorney gentle! LOL
