Seems most of his $$$ backers are the rich , ex Bill & Hillary supporting celebs & millionaires like George Soros, who supports a lot of radical Left-Wing causes...In order to find out more about his background, I suppose one could read his book....

He was part of Illinois Democrat Machine. Also, he was educated at Harvard. His backers are people who want to dismantle the Reagan Revolution.

he didn't come out of nowhere. He's been in the limelight since he gave the speech at the Dem Convention in 04. I don't know who the rest of his backers are, but I am one of them.
