You mean in magic, witchcraft is the practice of magic by witches or witches skill (craft). An amulet is best as it has properties to protect you against harm. However, it depends what you need the protection from. A good general amulet is the Eye of Horus, The Egyptian God, and that protects you against the Evil Eye; when someone casts this on you evil is constantly watching you. You can wear it round your neck and they are cheap to buy; try eBay etc. Candles, flowers or even potions are alright for a time, but the problem is their effect wears off. Amulets effect does not wear off, unless you personally depower them, which in most cases isn't that easy.

There are several, but most of them are personal. I mean they are personal to that one Witch. Some have candles, salt and rituals they use for their homes and businesses. Others carry stones, leaves, feathers or some some other natural element. It is all a matter of personal choice. I carry a stone! Others, that I know, have indiscreet mixtures of ground stone, oils, plant life and a few other added ingredients. It is difficult to put your finger on just one item because so many things give so many different people strength and positive air. The biggest thing I suppose is to ask yourself what type of protectant are you needing?
Home, self, or other! When I say other I mean is it an item to protect you while your out away from home? Or is it an item that will keep you safe along with your protection spell in your home? The power of positive thinking is the greatest protector there is but most people need a tangible icon to assist them. Like a crucifix or medal or scapula for a catholic, etc.. My chosen protector was given to me because I am a bit of an earthy person. You can give me a field of rock and stone and I can be happy for hours upon hours. So it was pretty easy for me to choose. My daughter, however, was a bit more difficult to choose for. She is not easily restrained, lol, so to speak, so her protectors are birds. She carries with her several different feathers. I suppose it is just a matter of preference! What type of person are you? Do you scatter easily? Or are you grounded in everything you do? Perfumes and essential oils if your scatter, and flowers with herbs if your grounded. But, like I said it is just a matter of what you feel a strength in!

The most important would be your personal level of mental discipline. Failure to be able to control ones mind and all the realms inherent within, would obviously negate any amulet, charm or other ceremonial artifact.

Go to a store that sells witchcraft items and ask a clerk to point you out to some. Try holding a few in your hands and see/feel if you are particularly drawn to anything. Hope this helps. My favorit one is one a friend gave to me.

The best natural protectorant is what you have the strongest connection to. Trust your instincts and they will lead you in the right direction.
