Don't know what range you are talking about and for what wired or wireless standards.

For wired, typically, you will max out at 100m.

For wireless 802.11 B/G, you will max out at around 35 or 36m.

For wireless 802.11 A, you will max out at around 25m, as its frequency is higher.

What sort of range?

IP4 address range?

IP6 address range?

wifi range?

Cable lengths?

It depends how it's configured and what hardware you've got.

I assume that you are talking wireless. They are rated for 250 ft. In practice they don't usually make it that far.
