It all depends on what you want to send, chocolate items as a gift are perfectly OK as are tea bags etc......the main issue is meat based products and ANY liquids.

I have sent you an email given you more in depth info if that's any help.

My parents send over stuff once a month as does my son and we do the same............and again liquids is the main problem we have had, be it sauce or perfume..........

Regards

Yes, you can send certain foods to the USA.

But 1st you have to fill in a Prior Notcie form for the US Customs. This is done online at the FDA website. www.fda.gov

Its takes a bit of work and there are only certain types of food which can be sent non-perishable goods etc.
Its all detailed on their website.

Once you have filled in the form print it off and attach it to your package.

I've sent a few packages over to my corporate headquarters in the USA.

No. Food cannot be sent to the U.S.A.
Best advice is call at your nearest Post Office (if you can find one) and pick up a leaflet on Overeas Posting where you will learn a lot about the subject.
